What is the Dark Matter? | DID? is real, Fact |

What is dark matter?

"WHAT IS DARK MATTER"- What if I told you that trillions of particles are going in your body right now, and you can't see it, hear it, or touch it.

And these particles are so vast, that they form 6 times more than all visible matter visible in the universe.

6 times all stars, galaxies, planets, gas and radiation.

And we can not only see it with our eyes, we cannot detect it with any of our tools.

So how the heck do we know it's there too?

WHAT IS THE DARK MATTER? DID? IS DARK MATTER REAL

In the late 1970s, an astronomer by the name of Vera Rubin, a woman in a male-dominated profession, was studying the mundane field of astronomy that no one else seemed to have at the time.

He was observing the motion of stars in the spiral parts of the Andromeda galaxy, a neighbor of our own milky way galaxy.

What he found were surprising scientists ... because it seemed to violate Newton's laws of gravity, which had been established as scientific law for the last 300 years.

His observations showed that the outer rim of the spiral arms were rotating in the inner part of the spiral arm as a star-like velocity.  This violates Newton's law of universal gravitation which governs the motion of stars in galaxies as well as the motion of planets around the Sun.

  Force of gravity = G m1 m2 / r2

m1 = mass of the first planet

M2 = mass of another planet

r2 = square of the distance between them

  G = gravitational constant

The equations determine that the center of mass is away from the mass (r), the force of gravity is low, and the object rotates at a slow rate.

Stars close to the center must travel faster than those moving away from the center.

Otherwise, the stars would have flown from their orbits around the galaxy.

It is easy to see the motion of all the planets in our own solar system that follow Newton's laws alphabetically.

Vera Rubin discovered that this was not the case with stars in the Andromeda galaxy.  And since then, scientists have found that all observable star galaxies, including our own milky way, move in the same fashion.

The only possible way that stars in galaxies can move in this way is if we can see that galaxies had too much mass on their arms.

Vera Rubin's observations confirmed an earlier 1933 hypothesis proposed by Swiss-American astronomer Fritz Zwiecki that the universe has much larger mass than we can see with our telescopes.

The only problem, and still continues today, even after 40 years, is that we cannot see this matter, it emits no light, no radiation of any kind, and it does not emit any other than the normal case.  Does not interact in the same way through gravity.

It only emits gravity.  We can observe the behavior of stars and the bending of light due to the immense gravity of this unknown substance.

In physics an "unknown" is usually labeled dark. Therefore this substance is called "dark matter"

And it turns out that this dark matter has at least 6 times more gravity than all observable and detectable substances in the universe.

The majority of the matter in the universe is Dark Matter - about 85%.  And it cannot be seen or identified (except for its gravity).

WHAT IS THE DARK MATTER? DID? IS DARK MATTER REAL

The things we can see are like froth above the waves of the sea, but we are not able to see the waves or the sea itself.  We and our equipment are blind to this.

We are living in the only froth of waves on the sea which is the real universe.

Then you must have understood what DARK MATTER is.
